We held a very successful summer club in Glasgow over 10 days in July 2014 which benefitted carers of members of Ashcraig Former Pupils’ Club, an organisation which provides a safe social environment for young adults with physical/visual disabilities. Members took part in a variety of activities such as sport, drama and art projects.

We provided grants directly to carers who live in Moray and to independent activity providers in Moray to develop their services to be more accessible to people with an array of additional support needs.

We provide a weekly social club for up to 17 young adults each week with a range of disabilities living in Edinburgh. The Club provides a chance to meet up with friends, try out new activities and basically have fun on a Saturday night whilst providing a chance for their parents/carers to have time for themselves.

To provide grants for short breaks directly to carers who live in Dumfries and Galloway. Any Carer can apply to the fund and they do not need to be registered with the Carers Centre.

We provided grants directly to carers who live in South Ayrshire and provide 20+ hours/week of unpaid care to a family member, partner, relative or friend caring for an adult 21 years and over and needs help to manage a long term condition, disability, physical or mental health problem or addiction.
