We set up a Wheelchair Sports Club in Perth called ‘ Perth Eagles’ to give local people with a disability the opportunity to participate in meaningful active sport & physical activity with their peers and siblings.
This was provided at Letham Sports Hub & numbers have been full to capacity every week.

Our project supported young carers aged 5 -15 throughout Perth and Kinross, allowing them to have a break from their caring role during the school holiday period. This included day trips, a short break and a Christmas Extravaganza.

We delivered an all-inclusive annual multi-sport, pan disability residential sports camp held at Badaguish Activity Centre. The camp was for four days long, very positive and intensive for participants and a great chance for carer respite sustained directly through time away at camp.

The project offered a planned respite programme of a fully supported respite holiday breaks, social lunches, social dances.
Cinema outings, music concerts, music and reminiscence sessions and a Christmas lunch all for both Carers and the people that they care for to enjoy together.
The project delivered fun, friendship and new opportunities for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) across Tayside.
It provided training opportunities for activity and leisure staff and supported community inclusion in an attempt to reduce existing barriers to inclusion.
