No Limits Kielder Holiday 2015

We are a multi- sportsclub for children and young people with a disability in the East Central Scotland area and we specialise in providing sporting and social opportunities. We also organise weekend activity breaks and week long activity holidays.

We provided grants directly to carers who care for an adult. The grants were available to allow the carer to have a break on their own or to have a break with the person that they were caring for.

Grants were available to carers living in West Dunbartonshire caring for an adult with a wide range of disabilities and illnesses.

Our project was a holiday break for carers and the children on holiday to Blackpool for a respite break.

We also have a fortnightly support group for kinship carers, kinship carers are grandparents or family members who have full time care of a child due to parental addiction, mental health issues or bereavement.

"As a family we were at breaking point...this break brought us all closer together and enabled us to have fun as a family and enjoy different surroundings. I can't thank you enough...for making this happen for us."
