Glee, Wee Glee and Music Club

SupERkids provides activities for children with multiple support needs in East Renfrewshire. This project provided supported activities to the young people who attend as there are no other clubs in the area that would accept their unsupported attendance due to their care needs.

Supporting Superheros

Supporting Superheroes delivered peer support groups and activities for children & young people aged 8-18 affected by Spina bifida/hydrocephalus living on the Westcoast. An additional programme of activities/groups was delivered for the extended family unit including information sessions and outings

Summer Sports Camp

Up to 70 children and young people will be given the opportunity to experience sport and physical activity with peers of similar ages and disabilities. The aim would be to encourage independence, find social groups and gain confidence to keep active.

This service is for children and young people up to the age of 20 who have additional needs. The children are accompanied to an activity of their choice, enhancing their social skills, confidence and independence. Family members, in turn, have a break from their caring role.

Short Breaks

The project was to create Outdoor Learning and Adventure opportunities for disabled young people in Moray, who often do not get the opportunity to participate in outdoor learning and adventure due to their complex access requirements, and their young carers.

SuperTroop 2021 Holiday Activities and Entertainment

The SuperTroop 2021 residential holiday, hosted by Fettes College in Edinburgh, gave young people with learning disabilities an opportunity to go on holiday surrounded by their peers. We provided holidaymakers with new experiences to promote independence and personal growth.

Core Activities Sailing Season 2021

We take disabled young people their families and carers sailing on our adapted 46 ft yacht on the Clyde Estuary . Our clients are encouraged to take an active part in sail trimming and helming the yacht.

Continuing to Break Away is a project supporting disabled children, young people and their carers through offering activities, respite and some time away via fortnightly pony club sessions and a 3 day/2 night residential at Lochgoilhead outdoor centre.

Weekend Warriors

Weekend Warriors brought children and young people with additional needs together at Rouken Glen Park, East Renfrew to take part in a weekend club which aimed to build skills, confidence and friendships and provided a break for parents and carers. The focus was on safe fun, friendship and learning.

Additional Support Needs Saturday Service

Our project was to provide experiences for children with additional support needs on Saturdays. The project was to provide parents and carers with much needed respite.
